This website is a source of information for families of Brighton Heights Athletic Association, which is supported in great part by its concessions efforts.





How Do BHAA's
Concessions Stands Work?
All BHAA players paid a $20 refundable concessions fee at registration. This fee is refunded in cash after the family completes one concession stand shift per child this season. If you do not wish to work concessions, your $20 will be forfeited to pay someone to work in your place. Your shift can be worked by a parent, grandparent, aunt, or responsible young adult.

In addition to working in the stands during games and events, there is plenty of work that goes on behind the scenes to make BHAA's concession stands run. The Concession Stand Committee, led by Sandy Mastele, needs your support. There are plenty of roles great and small for this team, including you. Team Moms
To simplify the process by which families get scheduled, BHAA's Concession Stand Committee depends greatly on a Team Mom system. Each team has a representative who acts as that team's liaison to the Concession Stand Committee. They work with fellow parents to ensure each family gets scheduled for concessions. If you are interested in serving as a team mom, please let the head coach know.

Team moms work with the concession stand scheduler, Rachael Rennebeck, to get parents scheduled during each team's specified week. Once your team's week is complete, your concessions responsibility is done for the season, unless you wish to be added to the substitute list and work extra shifts.:

Team moms should obtain their team's concessions schedule from Rachael and then communicate to parents about their shifts. Should families be unable to complete their shifts, team moms should make arrangements to fill open slots or alert the Concession Stand Committee so that substitutes may be used.

The concessions team is always looking for people who are willing to work extra shifts to earn $20. Minimum age is 14 based on maturity level. To be added to the extra crew list, contact Sandy Mastele at 412-992-7774.
What's My Week?
Three teams per week are responsible for manning the concession stand. Once your team's week is complete, your concessions responsibility is done for the season. The team schedule is below.
